This book presents the results of an experimental and analytical investigation undertaken to evaluate the punching shear capacity of interior slab-column connections for panels with openings, strengthened using (CFRP) sheets. All slabs were simply supported on the four edges and loaded through a central column. The slabs had various arrangements of the openings around the column. Two schemes of CFRP sheets were applied for strengthening around openings.

Prof. Nazar Oukaili is the author and co-author of over 45 publications in the field of prestress and FRP strengthening of concrete structures. He is a staff member of the college of Engineering at the University of Baghdad and member of the IIFC.Dr. Thaar Saud Salman is a member of the College of Engineering at Wasit University - Iraq.
