Matilda lives with her family on a farm. When she went to Hamburg for holidays, she lost her Mama Sunny in the park. This incident causes a great changing not only in her life. So sometimes, hopeless situations transform into fortune. Maybe only in a fairy tale, but maybe it can happen also in reality.

Rebekka Jost, born in Hamburg is a lawyer and left Hamburg a few years ago with her family for living in the countryside in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. The books she wrote so far, appeared at BoD: Das Versteck im roten Haus (The hideout in the red house) and Ein tiefes Vergessen liegt auch über ihren Gräbern (A deep oblivion lays over their graves too). That's her first children's book. Valerie Ulmer, born in Hamburg 2009 is the daughter of Rebekka Jost.
