Beschreibung

The book has been designed to provide a broad overview of the field of metabolic engineering and to show how various problems have been solved by a mutagenic approach. While this broad coverage has meant few details had to be omitted, it is hoped that the reader will have gained an understanding of how engineered microbes fit into the larger picture of modern organic chemistry. The book outlines the role of drugs and chemicals, which has a huge effect on the growth conditions of organism, concentration and stability of plasmid DNA. While radio frequency, UV rays and microwave radiation have not shown significant effect on growth of organism, concentration and stability of plasmid DNA and protein expression. DH5 strain can be identified and distinguished from other E.coli strains, by examining the genetic sequence of its 16s small ribosomal subunit, which has been fully sequenced. In this context, we observed that all chemicals, drugs and radiations affect the growth of mutant strain of DH5 Alpha with relative to the wild DH5 Alpha, and growth of the bacteria at different concentration and dose of radiation of the mutagens also differ accordingly.
