This work focusses on how applications of Artificial Intelligence can develop resilient transportation systems and effective logistic functions in todays urban areas. Operating with machine learning, robotics and through technologies such as 5G and internet of things serious challenges like safety protection and defense of cyber attacks have to be mastered.
