Univ.-Prof. em. Dr.-Ing. Rolf Kindmann war von 1990 bis 2013 Ordinarius für Stahl- und Verbundbau an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Er ist Mitbegründer der Ingenieursozietät SKP, Dortmund und Prüfingenieur für Baustatik in den Fachrichtungen Massivbau und Metallbau. Prof. Dr.Ing. Ulrich Krüger war Professor für Stahlbau und Baustatik an der Fachhochschule Karlsruhe und Prüfingenieur für Baustatik.
