Beschreibung
In the early 13th century an obscure hermit preacher called Layamon completed a sixteen thousand line poem he called Brut, one of the most important pieces of early English Literature. It became known as "the Chronicle of Britain" and was the first attempt at rendering the Arthurian myths into English.
