Eliza Clark's She's Always Hungry is a dark, bizarre, and out-of-this-world collection of short stories about human and inhuman hunger. Hunger in all its shapes and forms. A red thread of humorous body horror, dystopian fantasies, and refreshing matriarchal structures stretches throughout all the tiny tales. Her writing style is articulate, crisp, and unpretentious. I felt so entertained, stunned, and surprised by the course of this wonderfully disgusting book! Big recommendation, even though it's not for everybody.
