Beschreibung
Oxide films of tungsten and antimony are important as a constructional material for electrochromic devices. These devices are of short life due to degradation which occurs by film dissolution. Therefore the study of the formation and dissolution parameters of these oxide films is important. Also these films are used as thin film capacitors, photoconductors, and as a catalysts for energy conversion. Antimony has been used as electrocatalyst for electrochemical energy conversion and inhibitor in the corrosion control of iron and steel.
