Autorenportrait

A Fellow of the American Chemical Society, Mark A. Benvenuto received his Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Virginia. After a post-doctoral fellowship at Pennsylvania State University, he joined the University of Detroit Mercy (USA) as a professor of chemistry and department chairperson. He teaches all levels of general chemistry, as well as: inorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry and industrial chemistry. Heinz Plaumann, Ph.D., is a former Technical Manager/Director for BASF who has led groups to develop and launch highly profitable new products in markets including polyurethanes, detergents, coatings, emulsion polymers, rubber. He is also a Fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada and has been an adjunct professor/lecturer at several universities.
