The studies have been accomplished on commission from Norwegian Institute for Nature and Science (NINA) and is a cooperation between NINA and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Environmental and Health studies, Telemark University College. The project was included in the ongoing Scandinavian research on Lynx, Scandlynx in 2007 - 2008 and resulted in two papers: "Winter distribution of cervids and mountain hare in relation to topography and snow depth" and "Lamb loss in relation to roe deer density in south-east Norway".
