State Aid law is a subject of European law with substantial practical relevance. Laid down in numerous directly applicable European regulations and substantiated by means of notifications and guidelines for all the users, it has a considerable influence on the German law concerning state aid. State Aid Law will be further drastically amended by the new General Group Exemption Regulation, entering into force summer 2008.
