'Cooperation or Corruption? - Limits of Cooperation in the Health Care Sector in the Light of §§ 299a, b of the German Criminal Code': The criminal offenses §§ 299a, b StGB have made bribery and corruption in the health care system a punishable offense since it came into force in 2016. Since then, it has been unclear whether numerous forms of cooperation constitute criminal corruption or whether they are still permissible. In this respect, the thesis offers a handout to deal with the difficult questions of demarcation and to bring light into the darkness of the gray areas relevant to criminal law.

Anna Berger studierte von 2013 bis 2018 Rechtswissenschaften an der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, wo sie seit August 2018 am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Andreas Hoyer (Institut für Kriminalwissenschaften) als Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin beschäftigt ist. Für ihre Dissertation erhielt sie im Jahr 2022 den Förderpreis des Zentrums für Gesundheitsrecht der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät. Im Februar 2022 begann sie im Landgerichtsbezirk Kiel mit ihrem Referendariat.
