Beschreibung

In this study, the numerical phenetic method was applied on Coccinella undecimpunctata Linnaeus and its 13 aberrations. These aberrations were collected from 10 localities from Lower and Upper Egypt. The morphometric measures were used to obtain a phenogram representative of phenetic similarities and affinities among the all morphs. RAPD fingerprint profiles were generated by using five random primers on genomic DNA to characterize all the aberrations and to determine their phenetic relationships as well as to investigate the molecular markers among the aberrations genotypes. The genetic variability of the populations of one morph(ab.1), collected from the different 10 localities, was analyzed to verify the identity of these populations in Egypt, to quantify the genetic diversity within the population and to differentiate among the populations
