Beschreibung

The book traces back the overall issues of allophonic variation in Msirda and mirrors the connectivity between Msirda's communal partition and some considerate chains including the social and the linguistic ones. Surrounding variability from different angles, this research takes a dim view of traditional dialectology and attempts to call forth its unity with sociolinguistics_ the field that is vaguely defined to refer to sociolinguistic dialectilogy. Invetiably, then, the survey throws light on the fact that social variables exercise an endelessly supreme influence on Msirda's speech communities comportement toward /q/ allophones. Saliently, the present investigation seeks to suggest new avenues to cope with the essence of a speech community and to envision the conformity between /q/ variants and social variables.
