Beschreibung
For decades, Turkish foreign policy was guided by the foundational Kemalist principles Peace at Home, Peace in the World. With the emergence of new regional security challenges resulting from the Arab uprisings between 2010-2011, there appears to be a significant shift in this outlook. In putting the Turkish military interventions in Iraq, Syria and Libya into this context, they can be understood as indications of a new Turkish foreign policy.
