The volume focuses on youth work as an educational field of action and regards it through a European lens. While first giving a detailed overview of the measures the EU has already taken in youth work, the volume also inspires participation. The goal is to widen the knowledge of and insight into European youth work. The structured information can show new ways to take action for young people within Europe. The concept of youth work has become more open and more tightly interwoven with youth politics over the last ten years, a fact which is discussed and taken further in the volume.
