The book is findings of the research entitled "effects of different types of locally available organic manure on ginger (Zingeber officinale) production in Chitawan, Nepal. It compares the efficacy of locally available organic manures on qualitative and quantitative aspects of ginger cultivation. It shows the superiority of poultry manure among the different organic manures. Which is due to the relatively high amount of potassium and volume of organic matter present in poultry manure.re.

Mr. Harsha Rai was born on July 9, 1986. He has obtained M.Sc. in Horticulture in 2012. Since then, he is serving as Plant Protection Officer in District Agriculture Development Office, Nuwakot under Government of Nepal.
