Beschreibung

Space reserved for an investigative exercise that intended to verify the association between motor coordination and decisional skills in the context of football, in a sample of convenience with 46 5th grade students. For this, the KTK test battery was used to evaluate motor coordination and an adapted observation guide in order to assess the skills that we consider to be decision-making capabilities, such as risk taking, creativity and innovation and decision making. As a result, students with normal levels of motor skills differentiate themselves by the ability to take risks, showing traces of daring and greater confidence in themselves. On the contrary, those who revealed coordinating weaknesses were those who neglected to intervene in the game centre and/or ignored the game environment, showing themselves to be more inhibited and more likely to be trapped in a single focus, where the tiny motor repertoire considerably restricted their decision-making performance.
