Beschreibung
Sixteen plant food nutrients are essential for proper crop development. Each is equally important to the plant, yet each is required in vastly different amounts. Primary (macro) nutrients are nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. They are the most frequently required so plants use large amounts for their growth and survival. As agriculture becomes more mechanized and science increases the possibilities for using inputs to enhance production, the role of PGRs becomes more vital. Plant growth regulators (PGRs) have been an important component in agricultural production even prior to the identification of plant hormones. PGRs are now used on worldwide on a diversity of crops each year. Most of these applications are confined to high-value horticultural commodities rather than field crops. This book includes informative visuals, such as tables of physical and physico - chemical parameters of Cape gooseberry, Nitrogen & PGRs and its effects on fruit crop. This book also helps those people, students, teachers and researcher who work on essential nutrient and plant growth regulators in Agriculture and Horticulture.
