'Communication with Facebook, Twitter & YouTube. Constitutional Protection of Social Media and its Users by Freedom of Media' Social media are neither classic content providers nor purely technical providers. Moreover, they shape technical platforms and create a space for communication. Within this space anyone has the opportunity to direct content to the public. This work examines in how far social media and its active users are protected by media freedom.

Samira Tief hat an der Universität Rostock studiert und ihr 1. Staatsexamen erlangt. Im Anschluss hat sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Universität Rostock am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Hubertus Gersdorf für Kommunikationsrecht und Öffentliches Recht gearbeitet. Ihr Referendariat hat sie im Landgerichtsbezirk Potsdam abgeleistet. Mittlerweile ist sie als Richterin im Land Brandenburg tätig.
