Beschreibung
Vocational education has been an essential factor affecting the development of countries in our country and in the world since the industrial revolution. For this purpose, in this book, we would like to measure the effectiveness of the engineering education. Alternative education systems have been investigated in order to provide engineering education and general vocational education in accordance with the requirements of modern age at both secondary and high education levels. The students who graduated from the Faculty of Technology of Marmara University and Kocaeli University between 2014 and 2018 were compared in terms of theoretical, practical and elective courses. As a result of the research, it was found that the students of the MTOK quota students and the regular quota students have the same academic success at the graduation. It was evaluated that it would be more beneficial for engineering students to take practical courses at the high school level. It is proposed that the Anatolian Technical High Schools will be converted to Engineering High Schools in Turkey.
